       When creating and maintaining a Professional Learning Community, schools must differentiate  between PROFESSIONAL LEARNING and PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Professional growth must be continuous (Professional Learning) and not a single event (Professional Development), and therefore, it becomes an ongoing process in which educators collaborate the most valuable experts . . . each other!  The best people we can learn from and help improve our practices are our colleagues.
